Send an SMS Message through Twilio

Twilio can be used to send SMS messages from several modules within Moveware using the Send SMS icon  .

All messages sent from Moveware are automatically recorded in the system.  SMS messages can be sent by clicking the Send SMS icon   in the following modules:

• Print menu of Jobs Management

• Print menu of Daily Diary (Operations Diary)

• The Labour list in the Daily Diary (Operations Diary)

• Print menu of Customer Management

• Print menu of Baggage Management

• Print menu of Sales Followup Diary

• Print menu of CRM

• Print menu of Task Diary

• Print menu of Destination Summary

• Print menu of KPI Management

• Print menu of Supplier Management

• The top panel of Employee Management

SMS messages can also be sent from the Internal Phonebook Lookup window. This is accessed by pressing the F5 key and selecting the SMS radio button.

An SMS Message can also be sent through the Send SMS function, accessed through the Window menu of Moveware.

Delivery Confirmation

When you click Send on the “Send SMS” screen an “SMS Sent” Diary Action is added to the Diary tab of the Job. Additionally, you will receive a “Delivered” note once the SMS provider has processed the request. It also adds a unique SID number to identify the transaction.
