What is EasyDPS?

EasyDPS is a third party integration with Moveware to allow for information to be shared through the GOgistiX network and facilitate Shipments assigned by the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) and authorized Agents and Carriers.

EasyDPS allows Moveware clients to import their assigned Shipments automatically into Moveware. Clients in contact with their GOgistiX contact (EDC) can choose to download only the initial shipment information, or to receive updates automatically as they become available through the EasyDPS System. Moveware also has the capacity to sync updates, and requests for new information back to the DPS system in an export, thus allowing customers to complete all applicable work within a single system.

Contained in the EasyDPS import process are nine (9) files which will contain all pertinent information for a military move, attached are links to individual pages that will go over the content of each file, and provide examples of how a shipment would look in your system.

When implementing a new client, it is crucial to have EDC contact the TSPs to set up a new “node” for Moveware, in addition to activating the “Auto Accept” setting
