Waybills

A Waybill is a shipping document containing shipping instructions, origin, freight and destination agents and contacts, dates of departure and arrival, freight charges, vehicles, containers, reference numbers, included Jobs, and more. Container tracking and Agent reciprocity is controlled by Waybilling Jobs.

The Waybills Module

The Waybills module in Moveware allows for both Domestic and International Waybills to be created.  International Waybills record additional information for shipment volumes and weights, and also include fields with information necessary for inbound Customs clearance. Waybills are displayed in descending Waybill Number order in the Search tab of the Waybills module. To view and modify information about a particular Waybill, simply highlight it in the Search tab and navigate to one of the following tabs:

• Details

• Diary

• Jobs

• Costing

• Invoicing

• Charges

When the details of a Waybill are complete, it can be updated and an Invoice created for the corresponding Origin Agent.  Waybill consignments may also be set up for automated Waybill Invoicing.
