Add a New Waybill
A new Waybill can be created in the Details tab of the Waybills module or the Waybills tab of the Jobs module. Groupage Waybills are more easily created in the Waybills module. Adding Waybills from the Jobs module is useful for Jobs where there is only one Job on the Waybill. This process is described in Entering a Waybill from Jobs Management.
Once a Waybill is created, details are added and managed in the following tabs of the Waybills module:
Details: Enter details such as the agent and departure, type, freight service and inventory. See Waybills – Details.
Diary: View and enter diary actions used to monitor operations. See Waybills – Diary.
Jobs: Add one or more Jobs/Removals to a Waybill. See Waybills – Jobs.
Costing: View Waybill costs and generate Supplier Invoices. See Waybills – Costing.
Invoicing: Generate Customer Invoices. See Waybills – Invoicing.
Charges: View and enter charges and fees for the Waybill. See Waybills – Charges.
To add a Waybill:
Navigate to the Details tab of the Waybills module or to the Waybill tab of the Jobs module.
Click the Add button at the top left of the tab.
Enter the relevant information in the Waybill Fields. If the required fields for a Waybill are not entered, Moveware will highlight the areas in red and will not allow the new record to be saved until they are entered.
Click the Save button at the top left of the tab. If all details are validated correctly, the Waybill will be saved and then allocated the next available Waybill Number. The status of the Waybill is initially set to N (New).
Add one or more inventory items as required.
Add one or more Jobs as required.
Once saved, the Waybill can be sent to a Moveware Partner by clicking the Send via MoveTransfer button
