SCF

The SCF Container Tracking Interface provides a link between the Moveware Waybilling System and the SCF Container Tracking Web Site. As users update a Waybill they will be redirected to a Container Movement page of the SCF Web Site with details populated from Moveware. Users can then add to the details and then post the movement.

Setting Up the Interface

System Parameter
Access the General System Parameters (Administration > System > System Parameters > General) and set the SCF Container Tracking Parameter to Y.

SCF Agent Number
Next you will need to allocate SCF Agent Numbers to the corresponding record in Moveware’s Agent File as shown below.

This allows Moveware to match the sending and receiving agent with the SCF System. A list of Agents and their Numbers is shown in the chart below:

Using the Interface

Whenever you post a Waybill from within Moveware you will be prompted with the following question:

If you select Yes you will then be redirected to the SCF Container Tracking Web Site and taken to the following Dispatch / Send Containers window. If you notice any missing or incorrect information simply edit it on this window. Once you are happy that all information is OK simply post the Movement by clicking the Accept button.

Logging in to the SCF Container Tracking Web Site

If you haven’t already logged into the SCF Site you will be automatically prompted to do so prior to being redirected to the Dispatch / Send Containers window. The Login window is shown below. Simply Enter your Username and Password and select the Login Button.
