View Items (Asset Management)

The Item view is very similar to the Product view. The main difference are:
Product ID – Will remain the same for multiple Items.
Barcode – Item’s identification, which must be a unique number.
Description – Depending on the level of detail desired, this may be specific to the physical item or remain a generic Product description.
Location date – The date the item went into storage.
Select the
icon to display a look up table of all locations within the database. Select a location to set the Current Location field.
Select the
icon to remove the item from the current location
The Product ID column shows which Product the selected Item belongs to. You can filter by the Product ID to see all of the items belonging to certain Products. E.g. to see all Red Swivel Chairs, filter by the product ID of Red Swivel Chairs:
