Set Up Diary Actions in MoveTransfer

When a waybill has been flagged to export via MoveTransfer, a key diary action is created on the waybill to initiate the waybill transfer process. This information is provided as a reference, as the setup should already be completed by Moveware.
Before a waybill can be imported or exported, a specific MoveTransfer diary action must exist in Moveware.
How to Check if a ‘SendWaybill’ Diary Action Exists
In the main menu of Moveware navigate to Administration > Moveware Setup > Diary Actions.
Filter the records by clicking on the ‘Key Action’ combo box at the top centre of the window and selecting ‘SendWaybill’. All diary actions using the key action ‘SendWaybill’ will be displayed.
If no diary actions exist, click the ‘Add’ button to create a new one.
Enter the following values in the relevant fields:
Code Value: SendWaybill
Description: Your preference, however our default is ‘Waybill Move Transfer’
Key Action: SendWaybill
Waybill Action: Y.
Click Save.
When receiving waybills, a specific diary action is created for each job on the waybill.
How to Check if a ‘RecvRemoval’ Diary Action Exists
In the main menu of Moveware navigate to Administration > Moveware Setup > Diary Actions.
Filter the records by clicking on the ‘Key Action’ combo box at the top centre of the window and selecting ‘RecvRemoval. All diary actions using the key action ‘RecvRemoval’ will be displayed.
If no diary actions exist, click the ‘Add’ button to create a new one.
Enter the following values in the relevant fields:
Code Value: RecvRemoval
Description: Your preference, however our default is ‘Removal Plan Imported’.
Key Action: RecvRemoval
Click Save.
