Enable Agents for MoveTransfer
There are currently two methods of enabling Agents for MoveTransfer: either from the Transfer tab or the Details tab of the Agents module.
The Transfer Tab
The Transfer tab of the Agents module allows agents to quickly be assigned their respective Web IDs. A list of companies and their designated Web IDs used for MoveTransfer is provided, and must be manually linked to your agent list. There are five main fields in the Transfer tab:
Code | The unique Web ID assigned to the company’s branch. It is in the 5 digit format xxx-yy where xxx is the unique company code and yy is the number to denote each branch of the company. e.g. company ‘ABC’ has three branches so each branch will be assigned to the following codes 001-01, 001-02 and 001-03. |
Moveware Name | List of company branches. |
Status | Companies are shown as active/inactive depending on whether they have acquired the MoveTransfer module from Moveware. |
Your Agent Name | Agents listed on your database. |
Enabled | Set as Yes if you wish to send the Waybill electronically to this agent. |
How to Enable Agents from the Transfer Tab
In the main menu, navigate to the Agents module from Operations > Agents. A list of current agents will appear.
Navigate to the Transfer tab. Filter the agent records if necessary to find the required agent, and double click the record.
Select the agent that matches the Moveware Name and click OK. An arrow → will appear next to the successfully linked agent.
Note: If there are multiple agents belonging to the same company, assign only one. MoveTransfer is currently designed with one agent per branch, and will be updated in future.
Enabling/Disabling
Click on the Enabled button if you wish to disable/enable the connection.
To unlink the agents, click on the Unlink button.
How to Enable Agents from the Details Tab
In the main menu navigate to the Agents module from Operations > Agents.
Click on the required agent record and navigate to the Details tab.
Double click on the Web ID field. A list of companies will appear.
Select the company that the agent is most likely linked to and click OK to add it.
Set the Transfer field to Yes. This field is set to No by default to retain Web IDs for agents not enabled for MoveTransfer.
Note: If the required company is missing from the list, please notify Moveware Support.
Once an agent has been enabled, it will need to be assigned to a Destination Code and Branch. The Destination Code is used when receiving waybills. The Branch is used for setting the waybill branch and the imported removal plan’s branch field.
How to Complete an Agent Setup
In the main menu navigate to the Agents module from Operations > Agents
Click on the required agent record and navigate to the Details tab.
Double click the Branch field, select a branch and click OK.
Double click the Destination field. Filter the destination records if required, select a destination and click OK.
