Import a Journal

Open

Journals may be imported into Moveware in CSV format.

The file must have all of the required columns in the following order:

• Date

• Account Number

• Name

• Description

• Reference

• Amount.

• Foreign Currency Amount

• Details

• Removal Plan/Job

Multiple journals to be imported may be separated by a blank row.

How to Import Journal Entries 

1. Navigate to General Ledger > Journals in the main menu.

2. Navigate to the Journals tab.

3. Click the Import Journals icon. 

4. Click Browse to find the appropriate file.

5. Click the Run Report button [ ].
