Sales Budgets

The Sales Budgets screen is a way for users to record the sales targets for each Estimator within Moveware. In addition to Estimators Sales Budgets can also be entered in by one of the following types:

  • Move Managers

  • Cost Centres

  • Branch

  • Removal Product

  • G/L Account

If you are using the Sales Budgets screen for the first time, the screen will show as blank. To populate data, click the red refresh arrow and wait for it to run. Once complete, exit the screen and re-enter. There should now be a list of data.

By default, the screen will show a list of active Estimators and the budgets that have been set for each. To enter a budget, the user can type the budgeted amount for each user in a given period on the yellow lines against each employee.

Once the budgets are set, users can generate actual data by clicking the red refresh button. This will run a process which goes through all the sales data in Moveware and summarises it by the selected Type. The data is summarised based on the ex tax value of all posted invoices in the system that are linked to a Won job for the selected financial year. Should the user want to include unposted invoice values, they can click the ‘Include Non-Invoiced’ checkbox.

Once the red refresh process has been run successfully, the user will be shown a field that displays the budgeted values for each Estimator on the yellow lines, along with their actual sales figures separated by insurance vs all other sales underneath on the white lines, as pictured below.
