Un-post a Journal

Un-posting a Journal changes the status of the Journal from U to N and updates the balance records of the affected General Ledger accounts.

Note: To reverse a Journal you must have access to security group %.

How to Un-Post a Journal

1. Navigate to General Ledger > Journals in the main menu.

2. From the General Ledger Journals window select the Journal to be edited & click the Un-post tool [ ].

3. The Journal status will be changed to N (for not posted) and the account balances are recalculated.
