There are several areas in the Daily and Planner Diaries where notes can be entered. This allows Operational and Sales Staff to view and add comments to any action or day and assists in maintaining a high level of customer service.
Notes can be entered in the following areas:
Area | Details |

Action Comments | The Comment column in the Search tab of the Daily Diary. This is a note about the highlighted action. Double click to select from a list of commonly-used notes to quickly add without typing. |
Notes for Selected Action | The Notes for Selected Action box at the bottom of the Search screen. This is a note about the highlighted action. This box is much larger than the Comment field, allowing for more detailed comments. This field is also at the bottom of the Diary screen of each Job, titled “Additional Notes”. |
Notes for Day | The editor box in the bottom-left of the Daily Diary window. This is a note alerting to information for a day e.g. someone is ill, or the day is fully booked. When a comment is added to a day, any user who adds an action to that day will see the comment as a pop-up on their screen. Daily notes can be added using this icon. |
Uplift Details | The editor box in the bottom of the Daily Diary window. This will display the address at Origin as entered in the Details tab of the Job. However, if an address for an action is different than the address listed on the Details, an address specific to the diary action can be entered at the bottom of the Diary tab of the Job. This will then be the address that displays. Origin Access comments will also display. |
Delivery Details | The editor box in the bottom of the Daily Diary window. This will display the address at Destination as entered in the Details tab of the Job. However, if an address for an action is different than the address listed on the Details, an address specific to the diary action can be entered at the bottom of the Diary tab of the Job. This will then be the address that displays. Destination Access comments will also display. |
