Recommended Settings for Windows Desktop Resolution

Any Moveware users who are using a Remote Desktop Connection should optimize the Windows Display Settings, which could solve a delay issue. For some people the font scaling seems to greatly degrade the performance of the Remote Desktop. 

Environment: Moveware user Using Remote Desktop Connection Windows 8 or Higher.

Symptom: Experiencing delays in general use (not just Moveware). 

Cause: Having incompatible setup in the screen layout causing Remote Desktop Connection to apply the same setting to Moveware session when connecting to Moveware server.  

Resolution: Open Display Settings from user’s local session (prior to connecting to Moveware server) by right-clicking on the desktop > Display Settings > Display Tab > Scale and Layout > Change the size of text, apps and other items to be 100%. Some devices have more than 100% selected by default. Changing it back to 100% to optimize the connection established by Remote Desktop Connection between the local computer and server hosting Moveware.
