Setting a Default Inventory for a Room
In MoveSurvey, each surveyor can set a default inventory for each room, and then recall that inventory on subsequent jobs. This can help speed up the process of doing an inventory list.
To do this, open MoveSurvey and launch the Inventory screen. Select a room (and a method) and populate the list with the desired inventory. Your room will look something like this:
Tap on the ‘Bedroom’ entry in the room list, to bring up the edit box:
Press the Tick
Select Save This Room. The inventory has now been defaulted. You will see a tick next to each room that has a default inventory list. (Note: you will need to change jobs before this tick becomes visible.)
The next time you load a job, you will see the tick next to the room. To show that it has a default inventory.
To load this inventory, select the room and tap it again to bring up the edit box:
Press the tick.
Select Load My Defaults. The defaults will then load into the room.
The defaults will use the currently selected method (in this case: All.) You can change them by editing the line. You can change them all in one go, by selecting the small rectangle at the top of the list.
This populates each line with a ticked box. You can un-tick individual lines to leave them as is. When you have your list correctly selected, double-tap on any line to bring up the available options.
As multiple lines are selected, only a few items can be changed. In this case, we are changing the method.
Select the new method from the available list and then press the green Save button.
The list has been updated. You can see the method with the coloured square next to each item.
