Customize Outlook Appointments
When a Survey appointment is synchronized to Outlook, it will automatically show the title Survey – RP – Clients Name in the Subject, the Suburb/City, and the Country of Origin in the Section Line (Location).In addition, it will also show the full From and To addres including comments in the body when opened. See below for an example:
It is possible to customize all three parts to suit any company specific requirements. You can display additional information, such as the priority or allowance of a prospect job or pull internal comments onto it. Follow the instructions below for more information.
Go to Administration > Setup > Codes Management > Type: Code > add a new code called: Template.
Please note that this step might not be possible without a Moveware Administrators help, please contact your Account Manager if you can’t create this record.
Exit Codes Management completely, go back in and search for Type: Template.
Add a new template type as needed. Customizations can be done for Subject, Location and Body.
To make changes to the Subject:
Code Value: OutlookApptSyncSubject
Description: Outlook Appointment Sync Subject
Comments: Add the details how the Subject should appear e.g SURVEY <RP> <Client Title> <Client Last Name> <Origin Suburb> <Origin State> Priority: <Priority>
This is how it will display in Outlook:
To make changes to the Location:
Code Value: OutlookApptSyncLocation
Description: Outlook Appointment Sync Location
Comments: Add the details what information they want in the Location line: for e.g
<Origin Country>
Contact number for survey: <Origin Phone>
File reference: <RP>
