Wages

Payment made to an Employee for the work done or other allowances

Basis, Calculation Type, Tax Exempt, Super Applies, Update Hours, G/L accounts, Print on Pay Advice, Regular Rate and Status.

Base Hours, Base Salary, Annual Leave, Sick Leave, Furniture Allowance, etc.

Deductions

Money taken out of an Employee’s pay before it is paid to them

Basis, Calculation Type, Tax Exempt, Super Applies, Type of Expense, G/L accounts, Print on Pay Advice, Fixed Amount and Status.

Child Support, Salary Sacrifice, Union Fee, etc.

Taxes

A compulsory contribution to state revenue

Basis, Calculation Type, Tax Exempt, Super Applies, G/L accounts, Print on Pay Advice and Status.

PAYE Group Tax

Entitlements

The amount to which the Employee has a right, either by law or company policy

Basis, Calculation Type, Tax Exempt, Super Applies, Update Hours, Print on Pay Advice, Hours per Year and Status.

Annual Leave – Accruals, Sick Leave – Accruals, etc.

Expenses

Amounts deducted before paying wages to the Employee

Basis, Calculation Type, Tax Exempt, Super Applies, Type of Expense, G/L accounts, Allowance, Group, Print on Pay Advice, Percentage of Gross and Status
