Rate Requests – Costing

The Costing tab of the Rate Request (Quotes to Agents) module is used in the same way as the Costing tab of the Jobs Management module. See Jobs – Costing.

The information entered on this screen will be used to create the quote you provide to the agent. See Quoting an Agent.

Note: It is possible for the Costing tab to automatically generate the Sell Price based on the Rate Request information entered. See Rates Management for setting up rates based on Service (FCL, LCL, etc), origin or destination country, and other variables.

When a Rate Request is Won and converted to a Job/Removal, the Costing tab of Rate Requests will be copied onto the Costing tab of the Job.
