Rate Requests – Diary

The Diary tab of the Quotes to Agents/Rate Request screen functions in the same manner as the Diary tab of the Jobs screen.  It provides a list of tasks to be performed when a rate request is received from an agent. 

Diary Actions are added to the Diary tab when the Job Type is chosen: 

The Diary tab populates with diary actions that are configured for that Job Type.  Generally, for a Rate Request, the diary actions involved are “Acknowledgement of Rate Request”, “Send Quote to Agent” and perhaps “Follow up with Agent”.  The remainder of the diary actions will populate for that Job Type once it is booked and a Job is created in Status W. 

The Diary tab of the Rate Request screen closely resembles the Diary tab of the Jobs module.  Diary Actions can be added, assigned, deleted, commented on, etc.  Please view the Diary Tab for detailed information. 

When a Rate Request is booked and converted to a Job, all diary actions will be copied from the Rate Request onto the Job.
