Direct Debit Setup - Jobs
Similar to tokenising a card for a customer, Moveware allows for tokenising a card (or bank accounts in Australia, UK (BACS), Europe (SEPA), US (ACH) and Canada) against a job. This is useful for systems which use “Cash Sale” customers rather than create customer records for all clients.
Sending a link to a single customer
Entering the customer payment information yourself
The Job will need to have a customer (biller) allocated, and that customer must have the ‘Stripe Job Token’ group assigned in the Customer Management – Inquiry screen. If this group is used on a customer, token details will be stored at a job level, rather than at the customer level. The standard customer tokenisation still applies to any customer without this group.
To save customer’s card (or bank details) as a token against a job, navigate to the Jobs – Details screen and click on the icon highlighted in the below image. In the dialog box that appears, the user clicks on Tokenise.
This will take the user to the Stripe direct debit registration page where they can populate token details such as customer email address, card details, region, etc and click ‘Save Card’.
The token will now be saved against the job record with the last 4 digits of the card/bank account being visible along with the card expiry date. This will be available to use on that job only, allowing payments to be only processed against the job’s invoices.
