Branch Management – Security
Many features in Moveware are password protected to provide an extra layer of security. Branch Security enables a password to be required for different situations. These passwords are set at the branch level, so you can have different passwords for each branch.
Branch Security can be accessed here: Administration > Moveware Setup > Branches > Security
How to Generate a Custom Password
Select the desired Branch.
Click on Security tab.
Enter the password manually or use the key icon [
] beside each field to auto-generate one.
Click Save.
Going forward, users will need this password to accomplish the specified process.
Field Overview
Filter Field | Description |

Change Removal Status | Enter the password required to change a Job’s Status from Won to Lost or Cancelled. |
Change Removal to No Charge | Enter the password required to change a Job to be “No Charge” (i.e. free or not requiring an invoice). |
Change Employee Status | Enter the password required to change an Employee’s Status in Employee Management > Details. |
Change Insurance Policy Value | Enter the password required to change the Insured Value on Jobs. |

How to Set a Default Branch E-mail
Adding a Branch and clicking the Set button allows you to store SMTP authentication details specific to a branch. This authentication allows for the creation of automatic emails and emailing of scheduled reports.
