Customer Ageing

The Customer Ageing module provides a view of the status of outstanding Customer balances. This module can be used to filter by certain Customer fields and display totals for selected records over each aging period. At the bottom of the tab, a summary of the total aging is given for displayed records. 

Relevant comments can be entered in the Customer details when performing customer management tasks which can be rolled over to the main Customer Management module. The Customers Ageing module also provides access to the same Tabs as the Customer Management module to provide easy access to this information. 

To display selected Customers: 

  1. In the main menu navigate to Customers > Customer Ageing. Existing Customers are displayed in alphabetical order. 

  2. To find the required Customer use the search boxes to filter the Customer records. See Searching for Customers for further details.  

  3. Records may also be filtered according to the Current, 30 Days, 60 Days, and 90 Days balances by toggling the appropriate header: 

To enter account notes: 

  1. Select a Customer and enter relevant comments in the New Comment column. Complete for each Customer as required.

  2. When complete, click the Record Comments button. A corresponding record in the Contact tab is created for each Customer.

  3. The Debtor Aging screen will keep the Last Comment on that screen, and various reports will show these comments, but previous comments can be seen on the Contact tab of the Debtor Management/Aging screen with date, time, and user information:
