MoveCrew – Tools

Several system administration tools and links to support resources are accessible from the Tools icon in the MoveCrew toolbar. The following menus are available:

About

The About page contains information about Moveware, along with links to the Moveware Website and Support portal.

Backup

The Database Backups window allows you to back up your MoveCrew.  You can also restore, export (share) backups and delete (purge) previous backups.  

Your database may be backed up as often as required.  Tap Backup Current Database.  You’ll see a new entry in Available Backups with today’s date.

If you want to restore a backup, choose a database from the list of Available Backups and press Restore Selected Database.  Restoring a database with a previous backup database will erase all changes made following the backup.  

A backup may be exported as a zip file and emailed using Share Current Database or Share Selected Database (if you wish to share a backed up database from the list of Available Backups).

Purge Backups will delete all backups from your device.

Chat

Send messages to office staff (Moveware users) and view messages through the Chat window.

Colours

Change the background colour of MoveCrew.

Delete (Jobs)

Jobs can be deleted from your device using the Delete window. Any range of Jobs on your device may be deleted. The default range is set to the previous two weeks. Individual removals may also be deleted.

Note: Jobs deleted in MoveCrew are not deleted in Moveware.

Event Log

View a log of changes made and actions performed inside MoveCrew.  Click the Expand icon   for details of an Event.

Help

The online Moveware Help (which you are currently viewing) will open inside MoveCrew through the Help page.

License

View or update licensing information for MoveCrew.

Settings

Your system settings for MoveCrew can be viewed and edited in the Settings window.

User

View or update User Settings.

Wizard

Launch the MoveCrew Wizard to setup MoveCrew from the beginning.
