Storage Management - Details

The Details Tab of the Storage Management Module

The Details tab of Storage Management shows the same information that you see in the Storage tab of the Jobs module.  Billing information and additional fields to enhance management of the storage customer (or Debtor) are contained at the top of the Details tab.  Charges for the consignment are added at the bottom of the tab.  See Storage Management – Details Fields and Storage Charge Details for a detailed description of the purpose of each field on the screen.

Add a New Storage Account

New storage consignments can be added from the Details tab of the Storage Management module, however, in most cases, a Storage account should be created through the Jobs screen.  See Add a New Storage Account for specific instructions and details.

This allows you to manage the Job that brought the goods into Storage and link the Storage Account to that Job for future reference.  It also makes adding a new Storage consignment easier, since much of the information from the Job is automatically copied over to the storage file (such as client name, email address, etc.)

Close a Storage Consignment

Storage Consignments are marked as Closed on the Details tab of Storage Management.  See Closing a Storage Consignment for specific instructions and details.
