Waybill Diary Actions can be added to a Waybill one at a time, or several Actions can be added at once by creating a Waybill Job Type.  A Waybill Job Type consists of Waybill Diary Actions only.  Let’s say your company does the following types of Jobs for Imports that you manage:

  • Import FCL

  • Import LCL  [this would consist of actions that apply to an individual customer.  For instance, the Delivery to residence action]

  • Import Air

  • Import Road

  • Import Groupage  [this would consist of Waybill Diary Actions only.  Actions that apply to the entire Waybill.  For instance, the Arrival action.]

To configure Waybill Job Types and Waybill Diary Actions:

  1. Waybill Job Type(s) must be set up by a system administrator in the Job Types Setup screen.  Waybill Job Types are defined as such by setting a Job Type to Waybill Job Type = Y.  This Job Type should have Waybill Diary Actions allocated to it.

  2. Diary actions for Waybill Job Types can be created and edited by your System Administrator in the Diary Actions Setup screen.  Waybill actions must be set as Waybill Action = Y and added to the applicable Job Types.

  3. Ensure that the Key Action field is set as well.  If an action is created with the code “ArrivalWaybill”, Moveware will not recognize it as an Arrival action unless it is assigned as a Key Action of Arrival.Once you’ve found the Waybill you are looking for, you can navigate to the Details tab for that Waybill, or any of the other tabs located above the Search boxes.
