A company Employee may be added to Moveware to record basic contact details as well as a history of important events and changes.
The Employee Management module in Moveware is a centralized module that is used to manage all personnel resources, including Labour (crew), Sales Representatives, Move Managers, Temporary Employees, Subcontractors, Accountants, etc. The module also allows cost or sell rates to be set up for personnel resources that are used throughout the system.
The Details tab of the Employee Management module collects information about an Employee in several fields. These details may be updated at any time, with the new changes automatically reflected throughout Moveware. An Employee record in Moveware consists of a User ID, contact, personal and employment details. Employees may also be set up as Moveware Users, with access levels configured according to their role.
The Skills tab is used to track employee certifications, training, licenses, courses, etc.
The User Details tab is for your staff who are Moveware users only (not crew). This tab establishes the user’s security access (which screens they can view and edit), Outlook settings, Defaults and Alerts, and some other system settings.
The Log tab is used to maintain a history of activity for each employee.
The Events tab will display the full Event Log for this employee – every action they have performed in Moveware.
The Labour Rates tab allows you to set Cost and Sell Rates for your Labour staff. This is most commonly used to set hourly rates, including overtime.
The Pay Setup tab is used to add employees to payroll, and to set up their allowances, pay rates, contributions, etc. Payroll applies to Australian companies only.
The Pays tab is for processing employee wages and salaries (Australian companies only).
The Bank Accounts tab is where employee bank accounts are set up for Payroll (Australian companies only).
Note: To use the Employee Management module and edit Employee records you must have Security Group E access.
