  1. In the main menu navigate to Customers > Customer Management.

  2. The Search tab is automatically displayed upon entering the Customer Management module.  Existing Customers are listed alphabetically below blank search boxes.

  3. For instructions on how to use the search boxes to filter Customer records, refer to Searching Records.

  4. Narrow the search further by selecting one or more of the following check boxes:

    1. Include (Customers with a Status of) “Prospect”, “Suspect” and “Corp Only” 

    2. Show Customers with Non-Zero Balances Only

  5. Select the Customer records that are currently on the screen using the image-20240819-173747.png  Select icon. To display the total amount of outstanding transactions for the selected Customers, click the Display Totals icon image-20240819-173806.png  on the bottom-left of the screen. The Total balance will display on the bottom-right of the screen.

  6. While you have Customers Selected, you can run reports on the Selected Customers on the Reports module. In the Customers tab, look for a filter of “Selected Items Only”. Enter a Y into this field to search only for those Customers you’ve Selected.

  7. Entering an amount above the Balance column displays all Customers with a balance greater than the amount entered in the search box.

Details

Edit Customer details including contact address, currency, banking information and key employee contacts.

Inquiry

View all Customer transactions, the current ageing status of the Customer to Current, 30 Days, 60 Days, 90+ Days and Total monies outstanding. A consolidated view of payments applied to multiple receipts may also be displayed.

Analysis

View Yearly Sales by General Ledger period.

Contact

View previous and upcoming Customer contact tasks.

History

View the Job history of the Customer. This tab is useful for locating particular Jobs.

Inventory

View the Customer’s Inventory.

Rates

Manage Customer Invoicing Rates.

Apply

Apply Receipts or Credit Notes that have not yet been applied to one or more invoices.

Job Types

Create Job Types, or elements within Job Types (Diary Actions, Costing Lines, Invoicing Lines) specific to a Customer.
