Navigate to Operations > Asset Management (for a master list of Assets across all Customers) or to Customers > Customer Management to see a Customer-specific list. Choose a Customer who is set up for Asset Management, and navigate to the Inventory Tab.

Use the radio buttons at the top left to ensure you are viewing Products:
The
icon will display the total on screen based on what has been selected.The
icon will delete ALL items or products assigned to the selected Customer.The following fields can be updated through the Inventory tab, many of these fields have look ups (you can double click and choose from a list of options). They are also searchable via the filters on the top of the Inventory tab:
Product ID – A grouping of Items. It can be numerical and/or alpha.
Barcode – The Product’s identification. It must be a unique number.
Client Ref – A reference number or name the Customer uses for the Product.

Owned By – The Customer/Debtor that owns the product.
Sub-Group & Group – Further classification of the product i.e.
Group – Chairs
Sub-Group – Swivel
Finish, Colour, Pieces, Weight, Volume, Depth, Width, Height, Size – All related to the weights and measurements of the Product.
Status – When a Product is in storage, the Product should remain Active. Once it has become a discontinued Product, it should be set to Inactive.
Location Date/ Current Location – Not applicable to Products.
Product – Determines if the entity is a Product or Item.
Y = Product
N= Item
Total, Available, On Order – Number of items associated with this product. This is automatically updated when the quantity of Items for that Product are moved in or out of storage. This is visible to your Customer online, via MovePartner.
Comments – Any comments in reference to the Product. These will be visible on the Inventory tab of the Job.
It is also possible to attach a photo to the Product. These are also visible online. To do so:
Double click on the Image file field
Select the image or click on the paper clip icon to attached a new image
Use the
icon to set the image as the default for the productUse the
icons to de-select the imageEnsure the file path name is relevant to the product (note the file path name for MovePartner Configuration)
The Usage field displays the Job Number, Destination, Load and Delivery date that the Product has been used on.
