The Journals module lists all system journals from newest to oldest (in reverse number order).
Journal records can be filtered using the search fields above the list; this can be particularly useful for identifying journals that are Effective, Posted, or Created within a specific date range.
Selecting a journal record will display the Journal Entries at the bottom of the General Ledger Journal window, including total Debits, Credits, and Balance.
Journal entries with foreign currency values are displayed by selecting the Show Foreign Currency checkbox.

Attachments | View any attachments associated with the selected journal. |
Clear Private Data | Clears private data. |
Unapply Receipt or Payment | For DR and CP journals only. Unapplies this transaction to the Customer or purchase Invoice that it was applied to. |
Post All Selected Journals | Multiple Journal records may be posted in one operation with the Post All tool . See Posting all Journals. |
Post Current Journal | The Post button posts the Journal balances to the General Ledger. See Posting a Journal Record. |
Un-post Selected Journal | If a Journal requires modification it must first be unposted with the Unpost tool . See Un-posting a Journal. |
Modify Effective Date | Use the Modify Effective Date tool to change the effective date of a Journal. |
Void Selected Journal | Use the Void tool to un-post Journal transactions from the General Ledger. See Voiding a Journal. |
Import Journals from Excel | Journals may be imported into Moveware in CSV format using the Import Journals tool . See Importing a Journal. |
Copy Selected Journal | The copy tool will copy details of a selected General Journal with status N. See Copying a Journal. |
Edit Selected Journal | Journal details of Journals with status N may be modified with the Edit Journal tool . See Modifying a Journal. |
View Journal Source | The details of a Journal including transactions are displayed by double clicking the record or by using the View Source tool . |
View Events | To view events related to the Journal record use the View Events tool . See Viewing the Event Log. |
Generate PDF of Selected Journal | The PDF Current Selection tool generates a PDF document of the selected Journal. |
Generate Print Preview | The Print Preview tool displays a print preview document of the selected Journal. |
Print Current Selection | The Print tool prints or exports a document of the selected Journal. Export formats include Excel and Word. The Journal details may also be emailed. |
