  1. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app onto your phone if you do not already have it. To download, you can click on Download now and it will present you with the QR code for you to scan to download the app onto your phone.

If you are not using Microsoft Authenticator app, please go to step 9 for any other authentication app that you already have installed on your phone.

For Microsoft Authenticator

  1. Once the app is installed on to your phone, click ‘Next.’

  1. Click ‘Next’

  1. You will receive a QR code to setup the MFA

  1. On your phone, start the Microsoft Authenticator app and click on ‘+’

  1. Select ‘Work or school account’

  1. Click on ‘Scan QR code’

  1. Scan the QR code you get from step 4 and go to step 13

For Other authenticator apps

  1. On this screen, click on ‘I want to use a different authenticator app’ and click Next

10. Click ‘Next’

11. On your phone, start your preferred authentication app and scan the QR code or you can click ‘Can’t scan image?’ to start setting up authentication manually on your phone.

If you scan the QR code, once the setup on your phone is done, click ‘Next’

12. If you click ‘Can’t scan image?’ then you type the Secret key in authentication app on your phone to setup the authentication. Once the setup on your phone is done, click ‘Next’

13. Once completed, it will ask you to Approve the connection.

14. On your phone, ‘Approve’ the connection.

15. After you approve the connection, click ‘Done’
