EU Data Protection

Moveware is committed to address EU data protection requirements applicable to us as a data processor. As a data processor, we are working in conjunction with our customers as data controllers, is committed to the delivery of solutions and services that comply with GDPR.
Because of this requirement, Moveware has worked extensively to provide the appropriate provisions for a data processor:

Right to be Forgotten (article 17). Moveware software supports deletion of data, including personal data and related data, such as transactions.

Disclosure of personal data (article 15). Data privacy regulations may require the release of personal data upon request of the data subject. Moveware customers may run a report containing this information using our reporting module.

Sensitive personal data. Sensitive personal data is a category that requires special handling under GDPR. The definition of what qualifies as sensitive personal data may differ by legal area or industry. For example, sensitive personal data may pertain to information on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, or bank and credit accounts. Moveware as a company does not collect sensitive personal data, and as a result, have not been designed to store and process such data.

Data Security (article 32). Moveware can include encryption to our database, to provide another layer of security.

Data Protection Officer. Appointed a Data protection officer to oversee any GDPR and Privacy related queries and information.
