Asset Management

The Asset Module has been designed to support and assist in monitoring the flow of assets (mainly commercial goods in storage) between you and your customers.  Assets must always be associated with a Debtor/Customer. They cannot be standalone items.

There are 2 levels to Asset Management, the Product Level and the Item Level.

Products are used to categorise items, i.e. they are not physical objects. Each Product is also assigned a unique number to distinguish itself from the other Products.

Items are physical objects that are uniquely barcoded. Each Item must be linked to a product so it can be categorized correctly in Asset Management.
