Moveware Smart Panel (Add, Copy, Delete, Save)
The Moveware Smart Panel is used across many Moveware modules and windows. It provides access to the default functions as detailed below:
Save | Saves any changes you have made to the currently displayed record or window. Until you click Save, the database will not be updated with your current changes. When you Save a record, Moveware will perform a variety of validation to make sure that all the details have been entered correctly. Required Fields in Moveware are highlighted in red. Records cannot be saved until the required fields are filled in. |
Reset | The Reset button allows you to undo any changes made to the record since you last Saved. This function is useful if you have incorrectly typed over some important data. |
Add | The Add button allows you to add a new record. Required fields in Moveware are highlighted in red. Records cannot be saved until the required fields are filled in. Some fields are special fields called “look–up” fields. You will know these fields when you enter them, as they will display light blue shading. Double clicking on these look–up fields will enable you to view and select from a list of available options. |
Copy | The Copy function creates a new record by copying the data on the screen. Changes can be made before Saving. |
Delete | Delete will delete the currently selected record. |
Cancel | Cancel stops the Add or Copy of a new Record and returns the User to the last displayed Record. |
